Beyond Bush: Submission to Ad Contest

After all my talk about making political advertising, I was able to put in a few hours during last week to make a 30 second Ad entitled Beyond Bush (beyondbush.mp4) for the Bush in 30 Seconds contest.
Using "My Life Changed," the music track co-created by Colin Mutchler and Cora Beth, written about by Lawrence Lessig, and facilitated by Creative Commons, the Ad remembers the unity we all experienced following September 11th, 2001, until President Bush declared, "Either you're with us, or you're against us." Now, over two years later, there's more war, and more terror. So in 2004, let's move beyond fear, beyond evil, beyond Bush. I don't expect the Ad to win, but I look forward to voting on December 15th for the first grassroots produced political ad campaign in the Nation's history.
