Reggae version of Language of My Reality

October 17, 2005 |

Check out the new Reggae version of Language of My Reality remixed by German-based reggae producer alionsonny. I would have never guessed that the piece could become a reggae song, but I think it's my favorite version so far. Another valuable example of the commons at work.

Background story: Last week he emailed me... "I am a musician from Hamburg / Germany, currently working mostly in the dub reggae genre. I found your vocal track "Language of my Reality" phantastic, and want to put it on my latest song.... I hope it's ok get for you to get dubbed."

Umm, yeah, I'd love to "get dubbed." In fact, the CC license on the CCMixter page gives the permission up front. Thanks and respect to alionsonny.

Keep the remixes coming (we're up to 13 remixes of Language of My Reality, including a strange new ominous one called "The Leader by NoSushi for Zikweb.org."

Heya Colin,
yeah, I was glad to do that collab with you. You are a gifted writer and speaker and your text caught me right after the first time I heard it. It's pretty much the same I would say, if my english was as good as yours. I got an oxford certificate in english since a billion years ;-) and never knew exactly how I got it. Ahh, all just nonsense. Your lyrical art and my dub techniques make up a perfect team. I'm looking forward to further fruitfull collaborations.

Keep the spirit, save your soul !
