Rise of the Participatory Generation
November 6, 2005
The BBC has some great profiles of digital citizens, including some interesting info from a study from the Pew Center for American Life that shows that Fully half of all teens and 57% of teens who use the internet could be considered Content Creators.
It is looking more and more like the next generation want to create culture and not just consume it, which means that my vision for activefreemedia is in line with the rising tide. I've started working on a business plan as part of a competition for social venture capitalists.
