Odwalla Founder on the future
January 13, 2006
Read this speech by Greg Steltenpohl, Founder of Odwalla Juice, which was recently bought by Coca-Cola, about the new economics.
"The vision for the future is a new type of networking, a new type of business coalition. Rather than just individual enterprises trying to be models, we’re looking at the shared vision of businesses linking together with the consumer--having a massive consumer movement, and the money will follow. Because if the money starts with the consumer and with consumption behaviors, brands will follow the consumer. And the consumer and the brands will lead the government. Then you’ll have the potential for real change. "
