Freddie Stevensen in the Black Cab Sessions

February 16, 2008

The other night I went to a Valentine's Day session in North London organized by the guys at eARmusic mostly to see my American friend Eli Salzman. I was happily surprised by the quality of the music, including the nervous but super innovative guitar player Jake Morley (redefining acoustic guitar performance) and the confident quirky Freddie Stevensen who's got a lot of talent and seems to be on the rise.

After listening to Freddie's recordings on his MySpace page I'd say he's a bit better live, with great rhythm and presence. Check out the video below which I guess is part of a larger series of Black Cab Sessions live from taxi's in London.
