More people prefer face-to-face in 2008 than 1998
July 29, 2008
I love this. In line with my father's prediction that pretty soon a large percentage of the population is going to start to reject all the craziness of digital and return to campfire storytelling.
From a British Telecom study (I assume for the UK population) via Mediasnackers' Real Life Has More Bandwidth:
"... the preferred method of communication is still face-to-face. In fact, this is even more popular [in 2008] with 68% of people preferring face-to-face contact compared with 51% ten years ago."
